Manchester Vintage Kilo SaleMonday, May 12, 2014
On Sunday (11/05), I went to the vintage clothes sale which was held in the The People's History Museum in Manchester by Judy's Affordable Vintage Fairs. I went there at around 10am and paid £3 for early entry. It was great, loads of clothes, bags and accessories. There was a great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
My plan was to find a few nice skirts and shorts for summer - and I found them! Plus I got a lovely oversized cardigan and a woven bag.
The jewellery and accessories stall by Victoria Vintage was just amazing. So many beautiful earrings and necklaces, hair accessories and sunglasses. Next time I am hoping to grab some rings and brooches.
I came home with 2 kilos, which cost me £30 - £15 per kilo. I got a bag, oversized cardigan, two midi skirts, denim shorts and one soft cotton marine pattern top/shirt.
Here is a little sneak peak of what I got. I will probably wear them soon and make a longer post about them in the future.
The kitty face shirt is from Primark but the blue midi pleated skirt I got from the vintage sale and yep, it needs a good iron.
It was an amazing experience! Please, please Manchester Vintage Kilo Sale, come back soon!
