SkinPep® Brightening Enzyme & Acid PeelTuesday, February 03, 2015
The first time I heard about SkinPep® was a few months back when Glossybox (September and December) introduced a couple of testers in their box. I fell in love with their sample products immediately and decided to buy Brightening Enzyme & Acid Peel from their online shop.
SkinPep® is a brand produced by Pep Cosmeceuticals® Ltd – an International company who manufacture nutritional therapy-based anti-ageing skincare formulations, manufactured in a cosmeceutical manufacturing facility in South Korea.
I bought 30ml for £29.99, the biggest size is 180ml and is £89.99. They also included 3 samples with my order which I will try very soon!
Brightening Enzyme & Acid Peel contains anti-oxidants and botanicals like Vitamin C, Grape Seed Extract, Red Ginseng and Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Green Tea).
This glycerine and Aloe Vera water-based gel ensures excellent hydration and moisturisation. The unique peeling formulation includes botanical extracts, skin conditioning agents, Glycolic and lactic acid, Pineapple and Papaya Enzymes, Vitamin C and Co Enzyme Q10, which brightens the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result leads to lighter, brighter, softer and radiant beautiful skin. The enzymes dissolve dead skin (keratin protein) and dark spots without burning or irritation.
I have been using this Brightening Enzyme & Acid Peel for months and there is still so much of the product left! I use it once a week or sometimes even once every two weeks depending on how my skin looks. Each time after using this acid peel my face feels like new! It is safe, natural and gentle - paraben, alcohol, perfume, mineral oil and artificial dye free. It contains naturally sourced peptide and Transforming Growth Factor (TGF), both involved in the process of skin cell metabolism. Usually masks/peels make my skin quite dry and flakey; with this Acid Peel I don't have to use moisturiser or face tonic to soothe and hydrate my face.
Only a small amount of gel (3.5ml) should be applied to the face, neck or body (on clean, slightly wet skin) and gently massaged in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes to remove the dead skin (do not rub hard - especially with sensitive skin). Leave on for another 1 or 2 minutes and then wash off to remove completely. For deeper peeling, follow the same instructions but leave the gel on for 5 minutes or longer. When the gel dries, add a little bit of water to re-hydrate and re-activate the gel. If you have oily skin it could be left even longer.
Samples included Dark Circle Eraser and Collagen Renew Day and Night Cream. Like I said, I haven't had a chance to test them yet but I wrote a little bit of information about each one of them.
Dark Circle Eraser is formulated to restore lost moisture, support collagen integrity and activate blood circulation. It contains seaweed, grape seed, red ginseng and green tea to protect your skin from the damaging effects of free radicals and support the health of blood vessels.
Collagen Renew - Peptide Repair Day Cream is a light, high quality cream. It has a silky refined texture which allows maximum absorption and supports collagen and elastin in skin cells to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It contains powerful antioxidants and botanicals - vitamin K and E, Japanese Algae (seaweed), Grape Seed Extract, Red Ginseng, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract and skin moisturisers like Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Glycerine and Lecithin.
Collagen Renew - Growth Factor Night Cream is a thick, super hydrating, high quality night cream which supports collagen and elastin in skin cells to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep. It contains Shea Butter, Jojoba and Evening Primrose oil to minimise dryness and ensures excellent skin moisturisation.
I would like to try more of their products. Have you used any of these products before? If you have any recommendations let me know!
